I did a quick Google search on “Pocahontas Statue” & got this hit from Gravesend, Kent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravesend, Kent.  It says the statue was erected in Jamestown, VA in 1922 and a replica was erected Gravesend later.  However, the Jamestown statue isn’t on a pedestal like this one.  I suppose it could have been moved at a later date.

I should take another stab at scanning this.  Don’t think the negative was lying flat, which is why the top half of the picture is out of focus.

    Yes, was just at Jamestown Island and the Pocahontas statue, which Park Rangers insist looks nothing like a native American from Virginia (more based on Sacajawea, ’cause all those injuns look alike) was moved and now sits at ground level, more or less.
