Looks like he just walked off the set of a classic film noir. Although I’d have to say the shoulders on that coat are a bit wide for someone so thin.

Repairs

This was part of a larger negative that was torn along the top. This was the most interesting part of it, which was lucky for everyone I suppose.

Looks like a toy car he’s working. I think it’s shown up in some past photos.

My gut feeling tells me this is a self-portrait using the camera’s timer. I’ve felt all along that Handsome Lad is the UP. Might never know for sure, though.

I’d like to wish everyone a in US a Happy Thanksgiving! Doubt I’ll get a chance to post again until afterward, so I hope everyone has a good holiday and doesn’t get maced at Wal-Mart on Black Friday. (:
