Found another roll of 35mm film curled up in the bottom of the photo box. Managed to scan part of it last night and it seems to be mostly still lifes. A whole section of the middle of the roll was unexposed or undeveloped. Wonder what happened there?
Must have been close to Christmastime when this was taken. One of the later one’s has Santa Claus in it!
All the photos posted this week are from a single strip of 127mm film. They’re all taken in & around The UP’s house.
We’ve seen this room & that TV before early on when I started this blog. I’d have to see all those photos were taken at the same time.
This is the closest evidence yet, in my mind at least, that Handsome Lad is The UP.
This is clearly a shot taken with the camera resting on a table or perhaps a wooden chair. Whether Handsome Lad set the timer, then ran to pet the dog, or someone else (Skinny Guy, perhaps?) fired the shutter, we may never know.
I’m going to the NHL All-Star game this weekend, so I imagine I won’t have much time to scan photos for this blog. If I don’t post for a couple of days, you’ll know why!
That certainly is an interesting collection of random stuff.

Reader Todd G suggested The UP may have been a Boy Scout. I tend to agree giving his/her age & the general subject matter of the pictures we’ve seen so far. These still life’s must have been for a project.

I think every photographer does still lif’e's at some point. They’re great for learning how to compose a photo, for getting to know your camera equipment, & for practicing exposure. The UP overexposed this one a tad. I think we can forgive him/her.
