I had a helluva time figuring out what this animal was when I first saw the negative. Goat? Lamb? Wasn’t until I scanned it that I saw it was a dog.

An Old Man & Dog
It’s amazing what you can do with computers nowadays! This negative was pretty bad. Just a washed out field of gray. Good detail, but no tonality. However, I was able to bring it back to almost normal with a few tweaks in Gimp.

Any idea what kind? I’m guessing it’s a mutt, but I don’t know as much about dog breed as I do about cats.
